We are a team dedicated to animal protection, active since the 2000s under the vision of co-founders Alina and Anda Murgu. From our shelter in Vidra (Ilfov), we offer a chance of life to hundreds of abandoned souls from Bucharest and surrounding counties.
Our story
Our fight for life
Since 2013, our daily life has been a race against time. It all started with a cry from the heart against the euthanasia law in Romania: we couldn’t stand by while thousands of dogs were condemned. Our mission is simple but vital: to save these souls from the streets and shelters and offer them a second chance.
A journey hit by obstacles
Nothing has been easy for us. We had to rebuild our hope three times:
- First, we lost our shelter in FrumuÈani after being reported.
- Then, we were evicted from Jilava after our landlord passed away.
- Today, thanks to your solidarity and the support of the Hobo Dogs association, we are finally home in SinÈeÈti (Vidra).

Actions
đ Our actions
We don’t limit ourselves to sheltering. We work actively to change the future of stray animals through:
- Rescue and Rehabilitation: Interventions for animals in danger.
- Sterilization Campaigns: We organize monthly actions for population control and reduction of abandonment.
- Responsible Adoptions: We facilitate the bridge between a dear soul and its ideal family.
