Taking action
Our Actions

The Suflete Dragi Association is not just about providing a shelter. Every day, our teams intervene in the field to save lives, care for the most vulnerable souls, and tackle the source of animal suffering in Romania.

Rescue

On-site recovery – rescue from the street, following reports

Sterilization

Thousands of operations per year to combat overpopulation at the source

Veterinary care

Vaccination, deworming, surgeries, convalescence.

Responsible adoption

Repatriation to France and Belgium every month

Sterilization
✂️ Our absolute priority

The only sustainable solution to end abandonment and suffering is mass sterilization. We regularly organize sterilization marathons for dogs and cats in the community.

  • A few telling figures: Over 1500 animals sterilized every year.

  • Our marathons: Whether it’s intensive 12-hour days to protect hundreds of lives or our monthly campaigns, we offer free services to local owners to stop the cycle of abandonment.

  • Impact: Every sterilized female means dozens of puppies that will not be born on the street.

🆘 Rescues and Emergencies

We intervene where hope disappears, to transform destinies marked by suffering into stories of resilience.

🏥 Vital Emergencies

We take on the most critical cases to offer them a second chance:

  • Intensive care: Surgeries and emergency treatments for victims of accidents or abuse.

  • Rehabilitation: Full medical accompaniment, from critical rescue to total healing.

🏚️ Field Interventions

We act directly in high-risk areas to secure the most fragile souls:

  • Sheltering: Recovering families (mothers and puppies) living in precarious or unsanitary conditions.

  • Puppy protection: Immediate securing of puppies and kittens to vaccinate them and protect them from street diseases.

Every life saved is a victory that depends entirely on your support.
